In 2024 I did a photography project entitled ‘Legendary Portraits’. A before and after portrait of tough ultra-trail runners taken during the Legends Trail race. With a photographer’s curiosity about whether covering a distance of about 280kms with more than 11.000 D+ and sleep deprivation can be read on someone’s face. The result is – in some cases – very unexpected.
